Pokemon trainers, get ready for another dose of cards for the Pokemon card game because the Majestic Dawn set is here! It brings Eevee's evolutions up to seven, powers-up Leaf and Water Pokemon with a new stadium, gives you two new Theme Decks, more LV. X cards and a pile of awesome new fossil cards! Getting Up Early
There are 100 new Pokemon cards to play with in this set! It kicks things off with more evolutions for Eevee, giving it seven ways to evolve. Then there are LV.X cards that let Garchomp bring KO'd Pokemon back, Glaceon clobber Benched Pokemon, Leafeon unleash a massive attack and Porygon-Z dig through your deck for cards. The Porygon-Z one is weak, but the Garchomp LV.X is awesome!Fossils FTW!
The new fossil cards are really awesome - Dome Fossil, Helix Fossil and Old Amber. Dome and Helix evolve fast but Old Amber is indestructible so you can set it out to get a few turns while you power-up your other Pokemon. The awesome combos you can pull with the new fossil cards give this set some serious awesomeness and all the ways you can evolve Eevee let you keep your opponent guessing. The new Garchomp and Leafeon LV.X cards rock, unfortunately the other two are weak. Even with a few ho-hum cards, this is a really solid set and great for new Pokemon players!Related Stories:
