Jennifer Lopez and LeAnn Rimes CD Reviews

LeAnn Rimes has dropped her 12th studio album and Jennifer Lopez has launched her fifth English album. We're taking a look at the latest releases from these music industry veterans!
Jennifer Lopez - Brave
J. Lo has returned to
her dance music roots with this light,
upbeat record. It's a comfortable, unsurprising album that is full of hooks, but not too many
twists and turns. The production is impressive, but the album doesn't have a
particularly current sound and Jen's vocals are as weak as her
"I'm not pregnant" routine. You may want to dance to a few tracks when they hit the radio, but
put your piggy bank down - this isn't an album worth shelling out for.

LeAnn Rimes - Family
She may only be 25, but
LeAnne Rimes is already an industry veteran. Her latest album harkens back to her
crossover past, which blended
country crooning with top 40 pizzazz. The album is both slick and intimate, and shows off LeAnn's
impressive vocal range. If your music tastes lean more towards "
a little bit country" than the do towards "a little bit rock and roll" this is an album
worth checking out.
LeAnn Rimes - Family Fun Facts
LeAnn's husband, Dean Sheremet, co-wrote many of the songs on the album.
Bon Jovi and Reba McEntire both make guest appearances on Family.
Family was produced by Dann Huff, who has produced albums for Carrie Underwood, Faith Hill and Keith Urban.
